                          A child learns to share , be imaginative, co-operate, lead or follow as they play. The child learns teamwork, satisfaction, perseverance and accomplishment. Learning while playing? Or taking play seriously?

                           If you don't still get excited about a new prospect. If every closing with a first time Buyer isn't still a thrill. If your adrenaline doesn't rush during negotiations ! If you don't get inspired by new technology, marketing techniques and gadgets. Then you aren't taking your play seriously!

                           So do a little re-evaluation. Make sure you still like what you do....and if you do....

Joan, It's so important to continued to be interested & engaged in learning & having fun in something that we spend so much of our waking moments doing...work!  I think I'm still learning at least 1 new thing everyday & I've been doing this for over a decade.  Having a desire to learn & grow has made real estate a fun, albeit challenging career.

 I agree totally.

One of the best things is that no transaction is ever the same.And there is a surprise around every corner!

Another thing I value immensley is the emphasis put on continuing education. It helps keep us all sharp,keeping those deteriorating brain cells at bay!

Understanding the importance of building relationships and just meeting people, I work (or play) at getting into situations where I might find a person/persons who I haven't met before.  One thing I play at is Golf.  Easy to chat for 9 holes and atleast let three other people know what you are up to.   Yep, its fun.  No apologies from me for enjoying my job.  Its why I am here.

Yes...the one on the left with the curley hair is me. The other three are Carol,Jean & nancy...3 sisters from next door. I can't believe I remember theri names! It was a very long time ago.

Joan, got an email from my daughter today that the Concord Monitor wanted to interview me...Hope they wait until I get back. Picked up shells today on the shores of the North Sea. Can see Holland in this distance. Ahhhh. Is that you in the sandbox?
