***Renewable Energy Credits***

  Those of us living in New Hampshire have been offered a unique opportunity!

Segway Inc. of Bedford (Hillsborough County) New Hampshire has introduced a program to purchase renewable energy credits. These can be recieved for every Personal Transporter bought in 2007.

The program seeks to replace the electricity a Segway rider uses in one year in order to charge is /her Segway. The electric energy used is estimated at 200 kilowatt hours. This will be replaced with electricity from renewable sources such as solar, wind and geothermal!

Those who purchase their Segway in 2007 should visit their "Green" site to register for these renewable energy credits that will be purchase on their behalf!

This unique program has been instituted to celebrate Earth Day!

Gary...thanks for the comment. To give credit to this company...they have also done inventions of products to benefit the handi capped. So, maybe the community element is legitimate!

Thats good to hear.  Now, if we could get the energy producers to do the same.  Our company here in Florida wants ME to pay them $9.95 per month so they can research alternative energy sources!  How outrageous is that considering their 06 profits were around $35 billion?!

Okay Joan -- We are going to have to get some segways and role into the next PPC meeting!  I would love to see everyone's face (hahaha).  I could use some energy (credits) too!  That last meeting just about did me in.
