Concord New Hampshire~Creative Concept

Nonni's  I recently did a Post about the "New Kid In Town" Nonni's Italian Eatery! Well Nonni's is in the news again....

Located conveniently in The Holiday Inn, Nonni's is taking adventage of their downtown location to service their downtown lunchtime customers...while saving on gas!

From 11:30-2:30 Monday thru Friday, they will deliver Pizza...segway on a Segway! The Segway has been specially retrofitted to carry pizza and keep it hot. The delivery area is limited to include from the Holiday Inn to Pleasant Street and from Main Street 1 block East or West!

This is definately a case of creative advertising....I'm wondering how many others will follow suit?

Hey Tom...I don't know about where you are...but here it's definately too hot to cook!

Were you affected by all the flooding out your way?

Posted by Joan Mirantz- Concord New Hampshire Realtor (Keeler Family Realtors) about 1 year ago

Thanks Gary...my husband has been talking scooter! LOL Somehow I can't picture myself....

Joan, It certainly is creative, I love it.  And I've never heard of a segway :)

Joni,
I love it, what a great idea.  People are definitely getting creative in their efforts to save gas.  Police in a local community uses Segways to patrol.

Whenever I have seen these, I always have to smile! I'd order a pizza just for the chuckle. Do they deliver to east Tennessee?

Posted by Rich Dansereau (Positive Real Estate Professionals) about 1 year ago

Joan, get one of those high end Segways (like your picture) and buzz around town. That will freak out your husband and all your friends and you'll be the talk of the town.

Hi Joan, I love that idea. I wouild love to have one of those. But those darm helmets you have to wear to ride it, mess up my hair, lol.  Is that a fair item to add to my Christmas list?

A very creative way to "cater" to the lunch crowd downtown!  They are obviously reaching for success.  I hope they make it all the way!

CAROLE...You never heard of a Segway? They are a mode of transportation that has not become as popular as hoped. Some cities use them for mail delivery and I think they are also used in factory settings!

Posted by Joan Mirantz- Concord New Hampshire Realtor (Keeler Family Realtors) about 1 year ago

You're right Cynthia...some police departments also use them. I think the idea originally was for people who have trouble walking.

Rich...(second try on this comment)...I think we will see others follow suit. If only for the good press!

Posted by Joan Mirantz- Concord New Hampshire Realtor (Keeler Family Realtors) about 1 year ago

Gary....I actually have a neighbor who takes one to work...to be honest he looks ridiculous ...sort of like Speed racer with a helmet on!

Posted by Joan Mirantz- Concord New Hampshire Realtor (Keeler Family Realtors) about 1 year ago

Well William...if they became more popular the price would come down...you can hope!

Hi Carol (this new Red Hat server sucks!)....we had a luncheon (RE) today that they catered..they are definately reaching for succes. It ws the best food we've had in ages!

Joan,

This brings up an intriguing image....I can just see the pizza delivery guys zipping along on one of those with steaming pizza on hand.  Great for advertising!

I want a segway -- I will tell my clients they need one too!  It would be a great way to get around and see homes.

Hi William...you are so sweet!...I've been up in Maine for Fathers Day and that plus a "Funk" has made me devoid of ideas.

I was running a few things through my mind this evening and will work on them tomorrow! Thanks for thinking of me...

I don't know Joan...somehow I can't picture myself on one!

Ah the SEGWAY! I was fortunate enough to drive/ride one last year at the Michigan Energy Fair! What a sweet way to get around (took a little bit of training!) Thanks for the NH update!
