"I love what I do, and it shows in how I do it"

Once upon a time this would have seemed like a bunch of stuff for the "old farts" but now it really sounds like fun! LOL I guess the older I have gotten, the younger those numbers and definitions sound. I got a real hoot out of getting an additional 20% off at a department store one Wednesday because I was considered a senior citizen! Wooooohoooooo - I've lived long enough to get a discount!
Carol...yup! around here Tuesday is 20% off day..not a bad deal at all!
Sounds like a great idea both for the seniors and the businesses that are sponsoring activities!
Brian...now if only I was retired, and could tke advantage!
Joan,
What a wonderful way to assist seniors who want to socialize more and at the same time learn about activities and things that will help their health and hence quality of life.
Jo
Joan, I love that your area has activities for Seniors....we're all going to be one one day and I'd still like to play :)
Great post! It is important that seniors remain as active and vibrant a part of our local communities as they can. While we may sometimes joke about the seniors, they oftentimes have valuable information and perspective to lend. I think the programs in many communities that pair up senior events with youth events are some of the most valuable. And I second Carole's sentiments above!
Jo...that's why Concord is considered one of the top places to retire!
Carole....I already am one! (sob, sob) And I definately like to play!
Hey Rich....coming from a closer perspective."Move it or Lose It!"...I definately am trying to keep on movin it!
