"I love what I do, and it shows in how I do it"

Hi Joan, As I was reading this post, something popped into my head that I hadn't thought of in many years. When I was a kid growing up in Ohio, a couple weekends in the year we would go to the Maple Sugar festival. I realize that's not what your post was about but reading about the March Maple Madness brought that memory back to mind. Thank you for that as well as a very nice idea about posting upcoming events in localism. I need to do more of that and you do it so well.
PS, I learned how to tap the trees with my Dad and to harvest the sryup along with eating one heck of a lot of the maple sugar candy. What a wonderful memory.
Hi William...don't you love it when something warm and fuzzy like that comes back! I'm glad my post prompted it.
I've been trying to keep up with the "events" localism posts...not so much for AR because they still have that crazy system for posting them as they come in (not date sensitive)and by the time someone sees them...they're over! But I also post it on my website and according to my stat counter that is a big attraction on there!....no business from it yet, but at least they are going there!
Hi Joan, That's Wonderful and no surprise to me, You provide a great link. Always remember this, "Build it, they will come" and come will. Why it takes so long I don't know but I know when they find you , they will be so glad. Of that I know!
PS, I hear through the grapevine that there are some big and wonderful changes ahead and usins ( my word) who have been here a while will love what's in store for our more immediate future. Can't wait.
William
Joan,
It sure looks like a lot of fun. I would love to go and stay at one of these Inns for the weekend and explore NH.
Jo
Hi Christopher and welcome to AR....Thanks for the compliment. I have really been trying to stress the Local aspects of posting. That is what will bring us business in the future (hopefully)!
You had asked a question about Associates...I'm not sure what the actual benefit is.I do believe that if you add someone as an associate you are automatically subscribed to their blog.I tend to subscribe to blogs of writer I like so I can follow their posts and maybe add as an associate later..or not!LOL
Thanks for stopping by!
