Gratitude

                                           THE GRATITUDE CAMPAIGN

                                                               (CLICK ON FLOWERS)

                                       thank you

There is a new video going around (new to me anyway) that makes it easy to say Thank You. It is an excellent way for those of us who are grateful to the men and women who defend our Country to express that gratitude!

So if you find yourself getting tongue tied or embarrassed or even shy...take part in The Gratitude Campaign! A gesture so small that say so much.

What better time of year to Show You Are Greatful?

I was not aware of this website.  It is soo important to support our men and women.  My manager's son is on his third tour in Iraq -- Every year he is sent during the holidays -- It is very difficult!

Joan, It was a beautiful and touching show.  It's such a simple word to say and can mean so much to someone, I do hope they all know how very much they are appreciated...this time of year and always.

Joan - Thanks so much for this.  I'll be signing a lot.  I make it a point to thank all the military people I see in airports for their service.  Sometimes, it's just not appropriate as they are saying their family goodbyes---it tears me up.

Joan,

This is a wonderful way to show our thanks to our servicemen and women without intruding on their space or creating a awkward moment.  Sometimes those that are returning have such mixed feelings that they are trying to sort out so much in regard to what they have seen, done and lost - and the preservation of personal space is important.  But this gesture allows us to reach out and touch them without intruding.  Thanks for such a wonderful post.

Jo...I thought this was pretty special and I hadn't seen it before!

Monika...it made me get teary too!

Cynthia...do pass it on!

Lysa....I knew you would like that!

Carol...you put it so much better than I. But that is eactly why it appealed to me...the personal space issue!

Thank you, my dear.  I listened to the short version because I'm in a hurry right now.  Then I stopped, and listened to the whole thing.  I've learned something today, because you took the time to blog.  Thanks!

Joan-What a wonderful reminder.  This video is fabulous.  This is hard for me to admit, but we were in a store recently and 2 servicemen were right in front of me.  My heart was saying "thank you", my mind was saying "thank you", but I felt embarrassed to say it.  Wondered if the timing was appropriate.  Now I know, anytime is appropriate.  Just say it!  Thank you so much for sharing this.
