I had an unusual phone call yesterday afternoon! It was a woman looking for a rental. Now what made it unusual is that she was looking for a rental in Myrtle Beach....and I work in New Hampshire!
She was just so frustrated trying to find a place on the Internet she decided to see if a Realtor could help her! Her only stipulation...she could bring her two Chihuahuas and it would be before snow fell here!
Well I know nothing about Myrtle Beach but I did tell Mary (I'll call her Mary) that I did a Real Estate Blog (she had no Idea what a blog was....but knows now) and that I may be able to find someone to help her.
So I checked around and settled on : | David and Kristin Small, REALTORS®- Myrtle Beach Real Estate I liked those open faces!!! |
I sent them an email explaining the situation and David emailed me right back. He said they didn't handle Rentals (yet) but would be happy to pass Mary's information on to an office that did. He said they had worked with them before and were very pleased with them. Meanwhile, I had a call from Kristin and she said they would follow through with a phone call to Mary and the other agency to make sure it had been taken care of!
Now how is that for AR Spirit....above and beyond!
I'm thinking....If you have anyone looking to head for Myrtle Beach...send them to David and Kristin! A couple you can obviously count on for Service!
(While you're at it drop in to their Blog and give them a big thanks for really living up to their Realtor image!) Thanks again guys!

Well now thats why everyone should figure a little bit of AR into their business plans for next year.
Happy to hear all worked out!
Its always nice to see something working the way its supposed to...lol
I have been blogging on here now for a couple months and have really enjoyed it but have not really had any success grabbing clients from here......
Todd Hueffed
Todd...don't give up! I have been connected to two Buyers. One lost employment(sigh) and the other I'm just beginning with.
It will come plus the possibility of referrals and all the knowledge!
Hi Joan,
Good Post! And, I just had to comment on your artistic "THANKS"--very cute--where did you find it? Good Luck!
Renee...It is a confusing site to navigate but once you get used to it.....
When you get into Delphi on the left are categories...click on Creative Arts -when that opens all of the forums do different styles of custom signatures wallpapers etc. Each forum should have folders on the left(each artist has their own page) scroll the folders and look for one that says snaggables(you right click and save them)sometimes you will think you are clicking one and you see a reply to a request if you click on "in reply to" you can find them.
Try Signature Cafe or Snagg Sharing and Games to start...read the instructions on each forum...they all do it differently. It is very confusing but if you keep playing with it you'll get it.
Hey Joan,
I had somebody from Iran looking for a flat in Kuwait. They found me on my blog and I can't find anybody to refer them to --any suggestions??
Hmmm Camille...you couldn't refer them to anyone because you aren't signed in!
Joan, We have such an awesome resource here! Isn't it great to put a person together with someone you know will be committed to help... love the personal touch we experience through AR!
Ginger
Joan, I really look forward to the time when someone in NY is looking for a great place to live in NH.
Joan, it's warm here in the upper 60's. We spent Thanksgiving afternoon on the beach. It's been great for fall planting and decorating outside. Warming up to the 70's this weekend.
Ginger
Joan,
The networking seemed to be working here on AR! Blogging and networking here is a great learning and friendship building experience.
By the way, thanks for the comment on my blog!
Dave
Hi Dave ...thanks for stopping by! It is definately friendship building....I can't wait to meet some of these people.
And you are very welcome....
Yes, yes! That's one of the great things about this community--we help and support each other.
