There was word that the Lenders were supposed to help these homeowners out, most of the attitudes are not really that much help. It will take a congressional act to impose the standards that need to be complied with by the lenders.
One of the real problems is that the lenders are not always the same ones that did the loan. They bought these loans at a discount and do not have the the same vested interest that the original lender might have had.
