Are New Hampshire Frogs Louder?

                                                                              Frog

They have Frog jumping contests...are NH Frogs faster?

They have Frog Legs as a delicacy in finer French Restaurants...are NH Frogs Legs bigger?

We have Frogs in our Pool...do  only NH Frogs like pools?

                                Our Pool Filter's broken

                                The pool's muck and mire

                                The Bullfrogs they love it

                                They SHOUT their desire

As I sit in my chair...in front of my door

I post on my Blog while thinking...NO MORE

                                They're interrupting my thoughts

                                They're breaking my train.....

ARE FROGS LOUDER IN NEW HAMPSHIRE?

                               They're confusing my Brain!

Hi Joan -- that frog is very cute -- I don't like to eat frogs!  I think that NH frogs are lounder -- and they are very interesting creatures!  Blog on Mr. Froggie.

Joan, I haven't even thought about frogs in YEARS....I think they left Long Island when it really started developing.  But I had no idea they were so LOUD---I'd hate to have one get in the house!!  Thanks for that information and the adorable picture!

Joan, glad I read your post. It's nice to see something different and very creative.

We have a few frogs that croak all night long outside my home. Very soothing during warm nights

Joan, I remember as a kid having toad races in Maine (vacation) but the frogs...too slippery to grip!  I love the sound of the croaking- don't know if I'd like it so loud that it made me turn up the TV.  I'm waiting for the crickets to start up here on the north fork!

And by the way, Joan, they say when you hear the frogs croak three times you know summer is here! Yippee in Michigan!

And...our FROGS here in the mountains are HUGE! They are so enormous that you can hear them all the way across the valley, and down the mountain...

Joan,

I remember MANY years ago heading up a mountain in Campton, NH to a rented condo for vacation.  It was beautiful - until - when we went down the mountain to dinner the fog started to settle in.  On the way back up the road was paved with frogs!  I almost drove off the mountain trying to avoid them!  And yes - I do believe NH frogs are louder than most.

Gotta be that Yankee training!

Ohhhh Carol you caught them at mating season. I hate it when they do that. You have no choice but to squish a few!Yuck! Salamanders do it too!

It's not Yankee training...just that they've been watching those chickens for too long!
